On August 15, 2017, we celebrated the 70th Independence Day. It was headed by the Chief Guest Dr. B.T. Nandish, Deputy Controller of Examination, Yenepoya University and Prof. Joby E C, Principal, The Yenepoya College. The Chief Guest hoisted the flag which was then followed by a patriotic song
and national anthem.

The Yenepoya PU College, Mangalore, posted a superlative performance in this year’s PU Board results with a 99.23% pass. Darshan topped Science with 97.83% and Mariamath Afiya, Commerce with 96.3%. 44 students secured distinction. Congratulations to all the students and the teachers for their effort.
Yenepoya PU College offers Science and Commerce streams with Integrated coaching batches for NEET/ JEE and CA/CPT, respectively. The student intake is restricted to 50 per batch, so as to provide individual attention. The classes are already in full- swing for the second year students and admissions for the first year is on.
